Game Development at University of Copenhagen is a club for anyone with a passion for video games; whether you're interested in creating them or simply love playing! No prior experience in game development is required. Each month, we will share a prompt for casual monthly game jams, where you can challenge yourself and collaborate with others to create fun and innovative games. We also plan to make a bigger, more official game jam event in the future. There'll also be video game competitions and monthly socials where you can showcase your game and meet likeminded people.
Joining the club is non-committal. As a student you're most likely busy, so while we'd of course love for you to actively participate, you can show up to as much or as little as you want. As a member, you'll gain access to all our events, but there's no pressure to take part in everything.
The club is open to all students from any field, be it computer science, art, music or something else, and while we operate primarily in English to accommodate non-Danish speakers, feel free to use Danish for casual communication. Our events, announcements, and details will be shared in English to accommodate everyone.
To join the club, you simply have to join our discord server and pick whatever roles suit you! You'll then be able to chat with other members and partake in events. Also, make sure to follow us on our other socials:
